About The Savoy Theatre

Located on London’s busy Strand and attached to the world-famous Savoy Hotel, the Savoy theatre seats 1158 people spread over three levels: the stalls, dress circle and upper circle. The theatre that exists today was built in 1993 after a fire destroyed the original 1881 theatre in 1990. The whole auditorium was lost, leaving only the backstage standing. Today, the Savoy Theatre is mainly home to transfers of large musicals.

A magical experience
As a devoted followers of Paddington i doubted the musical could beat the films, but it did, by bucket fulls. Laughter, tears, shocks, thrills. It was warm and inspiring. Wonderful cast.
