About The Savoy Theatre

Located on London’s busy Strand and attached to the world-famous Savoy Hotel, the Savoy theatre seats 1158 people spread over three levels: the stalls, dress circle and upper circle. The theatre that exists today was built in 1993 after a fire destroyed the original 1881 theatre in 1990. The whole auditorium was lost, leaving only the backstage standing. Today, the Savoy Theatre is mainly home to transfers of large musicals.

Wow what uplifting fun
The story will be familiar to anyone who knows the Paddington franchise. However, the performances of the whole cast made for a funny, poignant, feel good experience. Fantastic staging, lighting and rousing music. Well done everyone.
