About The Savoy Theatre

Located on London’s busy Strand and attached to the world-famous Savoy Hotel, the Savoy theatre seats 1158 people spread over three levels: the stalls, dress circle and upper circle. The theatre that exists today was built in 1993 after a fire destroyed the original 1881 theatre in 1990. The whole auditorium was lost, leaving only the backstage standing. Today, the Savoy Theatre is mainly home to transfers of large musicals.

Best Iconic London Musical Ever!
Such a beautiful message of kindness and inclusion of all walks of life. These are themes everyone can relate to even if they know nothing about Paddington Bear. The set was intricate and detailed, changing swiftly with lighting and texture. The acting and music was outstanding. Loved every minute!
