About The Savoy Theatre

Located on London’s busy Strand and attached to the world-famous Savoy Hotel, the Savoy theatre seats 1158 people spread over three levels: the stalls, dress circle and upper circle. The theatre that exists today was built in 1993 after a fire destroyed the original 1881 theatre in 1990. The whole auditorium was lost, leaving only the backstage standing. Today, the Savoy Theatre is mainly home to transfers of large musicals.

Wonderful show
Good view of the stage. Would suggest to others to minimise what you take in the way of handbag /coat …. Need to clear area around feet to allow for fellow theatre goers in and out of seats. Paddington was wonderful, great music and such enthusiasm from all the cast. We’d highly recommend
