About The Savoy Theatre
Located on London’s busy Strand and attached to the world-famous Savoy Hotel, the Savoy theatre seats 1158 people spread over three levels: the stalls, dress circle and upper circle. The theatre that exists today was built in 1993 after a fire destroyed the original 1881 theatre in 1990. The whole auditorium was lost, leaving only the backstage standing. Today, the Savoy Theatre is mainly home to transfers of large musicals.

Wonderful show A superb show with fantastic lighting, costumes, lighting and acting.
My only negative is the final finalle ...Paddington coming out not in costume for my children to see...:(

Fun for families I really liked Paddington himself, the messages and the acting. The songs were fair but not memorable. The scenery was lovely but almost becoming a ‘ screen’ for a backdrop at times- we do not pay for screens- there is Telly at home. Finally I nearly left as it was FAR TOO LOUD. Absurdly loud- we are not deaf. I had to borrow earplugs!
